Full Description
Bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, to the north of Purcombe Farm 91). They are considered to be associated with medieval or later drainage as well as field boundaries. They are partially extant on lidar imagery (2) and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. Two elongated mound lie at SY 4180 9635, to the east of the main drainage channel on the aerial photographs, they are of uncertain date and function and have since been levelled.
