Full Description
A unit of post medieval narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the north of East of Lower House Farm (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.. They are considered to be the remains of 19th or early 20th century ploughing but a more recent origin is possible. The ridges were still extant in 2006 (2) but were levelled by 2010 (3) and are no longer visible in lidar imagery.
