Full Description
A unit of narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the west of Round Coppice (1). The parallel ridges were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. They are considered to be the remains of 19th century ploughing but a more recent origin is possible. The site is still extant and visible on photographs taken in 2000 and on the latest Google Earth imagery (2).
