Full Description
A unit of narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the southwest of Gerrards Farm (1). The parallel ridges were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. They are considered to be the remains of 19th century ploughing but a more recent origin is possible. The site has since been levelled and is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery.
