Full Description

A unit of narrow ridge and furrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the southwest of Monkwood Farm (1). It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The ridges are considered to be the remains of 19th or early 20th century ploughing but a more recent origin is possible. They have since been levelled and are no longer visible on latest Google Earth imagery.
