Summary

A large area of quarrying, 150m across, is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Mead Farm. It is not marked on the OS 1st Edition map and is considered to be post medieval in date. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A large area of quarrying, 150m across, is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Mead Farm (1-2). It is not marked on the OS 1st Edition map and is considered to be post medieval in date. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
