Summary

A hollow, 70m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery under trees to the west of Monkwood Farm. A small coppice is marked on the OS 1st edition map, the hollow presumably predates the coppice and may be the result of post medieval extraction. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
