Full Description
A large low hollow, 63m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Marshwood Cross (1). It is possibly an extractive pit of post medieval origin although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
