Full Description
Two hollows, 40-55m across, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Middlebrooke Farm (1-2). They lie within a single modern field which has undergone much field boundary removal since the OS 1st edition map. Neither feature is marked on the OS 1st Edition map but they are considered to be post medieval extractive pits or dewponds. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
