Full Description
A large hollow, 39m across, is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery to the north of Crabbs Bluntshay Farm (1). It is marked as an Old Chalk Pit on the OS 1st edition map and considered to be a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
