Full Description
Several units of narrow ridge and furrow are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Bluntshay Lane (1). They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. They are considered to be the remains of 19th century ploughing but a more recent origin is possible. The cultivation marks are still partially extant in 2009 (2) but have since been levelled.
