Parallel lynchets or field boundaries of probable medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of Sea Mark Clump, Buckham Down Farm (1-2). The lynchets clearly predate the extractive pits described inn MDO37910. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
