Summary

An area of general disturbance is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the north-west side of Mintern's Hill. It is considered likely to be the result of medieval or later extraction although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
