Full Description
Fragments of a banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south and east of West Axnoller Farm (1). It is likely to be of medieval origin although a later or earlier date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. Post medieval chalk pits have been dug into the field lynchets and within the field enclosures (MDO37931).
