Summary

Parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields between Chantry Farm and Meerhay. They run roughly north-south and are considered to be field boundaries of medieval or later date. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A bank and ditched field boundary of medieval or later date is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of the extractive pit described in MDO37909 (1). It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
