Summary

A long linear ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947. It runs for over 450m in a roughly westerly direction over The Green towards Fleet Street. The site is considered to be a drainage feature or field boundary of post medieval date, it has since been levelled and is no longer visible on later Google earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A long linear ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 (1). It runs for over 450m in a roughly westerly direction over The Green towards Fleet Street. The site is considered to be a drainage feature or field boundary of post medieval date, it has since been levelled and is no longer visible on later Google earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
