'Visible as a faint swelling on the NW side of a hedge which crosses the barrow NE-SW. There is no trace of the barrow on the SE side both fields heavily ploughed and newly ploughed when visited. There is a swelling in the hedge-line when viewed from the NW. A road lies immediately to W - it deviates from its NW-SE alignment at this point as if to avoid this site.'
