Summary

A series of field banks and lynchets is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the steep northeast facing slopes to the southwest of Whitcombe Coppice. The features are undated but likely to be of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A series of field banks and lynchets is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the steep northeast facing slopes to the southwest of Whitcombe Coppice (1-2). The features are undated but likely to be of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
