A scatter of post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the southeast of west Axnoller Farm (1-2). They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP and form part of a wider scatter of pits that extend eastwards (MDO37929-30).
