Full Description
A scatter of post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, on Beaminster Down. They have since been levelled by modern ploughing. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, they form part of a wider scatter of pits that extend westwards (MDO37931).
