Full Description
The probable site of a post medieval extractive pit is visible as a rounded earthwork on aerial photographs to the west of Bowgrove Road. It is 50m across and marked as a Clay pit on the OS 1st edition map. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
