Summary

A rectilinear banked enclosure is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs at Horn Park. It is 40m by 23m in size and lies immediately to the west of Horn Coppice. The feature is considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval date, probably associated with the house and gardens. It is associated with other earthworks including field boundaries. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A rectilinear banked enclosure is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs at Horn Park (1-2). It is 40m by 23m in size and lies immediately to the west of Horn Coppice. The feature is considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval date, probably associated with the house and gardens. It is associated with other earthworks including field boundaries. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
