A bank and ditched linear feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Bowdowns, Whitecross. It runs through an area marked as orchard on the OS 1st edition map and is possibly a field boundary or trackway of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A bank and ditched linear feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Bowdowns, Whitecross (1-2). It runs through an area marked as orchard on the OS 1st edition map and is possibly a field boundary or trackway of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
