Summary

A linear bank and ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Slape Manor. It cuts across the earlier lynchets described in MDO37731 and is considered to be a field boundary of post medieval date. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A linear bank and ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Slape Manor (1-2). It cuts across the earlier lynchets described in MDO37731 and is considered to be a field boundary of post medieval date. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The feature is no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery.
