Summary

A wide ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, running for 65m, in a roughly NW-SE direction, across the paddock immediately to the south-east of Dairy Cottages, Patley Wood Farm. It is considered to be a trackway of medieval or later date and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A wide ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, running for 65m, in a roughly NW-SE direction, across the paddock immediately to the south-east of Dairy Cottages, Patley Wood Farm. It is considered to be a trackway of medieval or later date and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It is still partially visible on the latest Google Earth imagery.
