Full Description
A linear scarp is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, running NE-SW for 160m within what is now a small area of woodland south of Lower Silkhay Farm (1). The feature is considered likely to be of post medieval date, either relating to quarrying or a landscaping feature. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP and is hidden by trees on the latest Google Earth Imagery.
