Full Description
An 'Old Quarry' is marked at this location on the OS 1st edition map. It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Combe Down Hill, Beauminster (1) The quarry is associated with the post medieval lime kiln described in MDO181 and likely to be contemporary with it. The feature was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
