Summary

A large hollow is visible as low rounded earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Dottery. The feature 50m across and coincides with the location of a small enclosed copse on the 1st edition map. The site is of uncertain date, potentially the site of an historic quarry or natural feature. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A large hollow is visible as low rounded earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Dottery (1). The feature 50m across and coincides with the location of a small enclosed copse on the 1st edition map. The site is of uncertain date, potentially the site of an historic quarry or natural feature. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
