<1> Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (England), 1970, An Inventory of Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume II (South East) Part 2, 382 (Monograph). SDO149.
‘(2) COTTAGES, two (25 yds. N.E.), of two storeys with walls of coursed rubble and dressed flint and with a thatched roof, were built in the 17th century. They were originally a single house of one storey and attics which was heightened in the 18th century and extended to the E. in the following century by the addition of a cottage and barn.’
