Summary

Perpendicular linear ditches are are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Burbitt Lane, Shipton Gorge. They cut across the field system described in MDO37560 and run into a drainage ditch or stream marked on the OS 1st edition map. The features are considered to be historic drainage ditches and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Perpendicular linear ditches are are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Burbitt Lane, Shipton Gorge. They cut across the field system described in MDO37560 and run into a drainage ditch or stream marked on the OS 1st edition map.
