Summary

A low linear bank is visible on lidar imagery to the north of Burbitt Lane, Shipton Gorge. It fits in with a wider system of removed field boundaries marked on the OS 1st edition map and is considered likely to be of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

A low linear bank is visible on lidar imagery to the north of Burbitt Lane, Shipton Gorge.
