A group of ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the north of Barr Lane, Shipton Gorge. They are considered likely to be trackways or pathways of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.(1). The features are still partially visible as earthworks on recent lidar imagery (2)
