Summary

A banked field boundary is visible as very low earthworks in lidar imagery to the southeast of Green Hill. It is one of a number of removed field boundaries in the area which are likely to be medieval or post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

A banked field boundary is visible as very low earthworks in lidar imagery to the southeast of Green Hill. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. (1). It is one of a number of removed field boundaries in the area which are likely to be medieval or post medieval date - the others were not plotted as they are marked on the OS 1st edition map and therefore outside the scope of the project. (1)
