Summary

A number of linear banked features, probably field boundaries or lynchets of medieval or later date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Allington Hill, Allington. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Full Description

SY 454 936. Slight strip lynchets occur E and NNE of Crepe Farm. There are at least 3 reduced scarps. <1>

A number of linear banked features, probably field boundaries or lynchets of medieval or later date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of Allington Hill, Allington.
