Summary

Two disused quarries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the north-eastern side of Hyde Hill near Waldutch Knap. They are marked on the OS 1st edition map and therefore considered to be of 19th century date. The quarries were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Two disused quarries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the north-eastern side of Hyde Hill near Walditch Knap. They are marked on the OS 1st edition map and therefore considered to be of 19th century date. The quarries were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. (1).
