Summary

A series of linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on Eldon Hill. The features are probably field boundaries and appear to underlie the medieval strip fields described in MDO37463; they are therefore potentially of early medieval or prehistoric origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Full Description

A series of linear features are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on Eldon Hill. The features are probably field boundaries and appear to underlie the medieval strip fields described in MDO37463; they are therefore potentially of early medieval or prehistoric origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.(1).
