Summary

A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of Daffodil Copse, Hyde Plantation, Bothenhampton. The features run across the contour of a steep southeast facing slope. They are considered likely to be medieval strip lynchets and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

A series of parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of Daffodil Copse, Hyde Plantation, Bothenhampton. The features run across the contour of a steep southeast facing slope. They are considered likely to be medieval strip lynchets and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project (1).
