Full Description
A series of early 20th century structures of uncertain function are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 in the location of what is now Valley Road, Bothenhampton. The site includes five rectangular bases (presumably platforms for removed building structures) along an east-west linear structure (possibly a road) and a small curvilinear banked enclosure. They may be military features or associated with the nearby limekiln and quarries. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. (1).
