Summary

Ditched field boundaries with associated parallel cultivation marks are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of Vearse Farm, immediately to the south of the River Simene. The features are considered likely to be post medieval in origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Full Description

Ditched field boundaries or drainage ditches with associated parallel cultivation marks are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of Vearse Farm, immediately to the south of the River Simene. The features are considered likely to be post medieval in origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project (1).
