Summary

A former stable complex at the rear of, and presumably associated with, the Pembroke Hotel. Subsequently used as a garage. Comprises a house (5 Poole Hill) thought to have been accommodation for coachmen, and former stables and outbuildings (7-11 Poole Hill and 39-41 Westhill Road) now with shops on the ground floor. A central covered yard is reached through arched passages from Poole Hill and Westhill Road.
