Full Description
A possible pair of Bronze Age round barrows are visible as cropmarks on 2015 Historic England oblique aerial photographs. They are defined by closely spaced ring ditches each measuring about 20m across. They are part of cluster of seven possible barrows (NRHE 1622730, 1622729, 1622728, 1622725, 1622722). They are centred at ST 9376 0232. <1>
The site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <2>. It is one of a group of possibly eleven barrows forming a barrow cemetery. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
