Full Description
Appears to have a terminal at the eastern end, but the western end is less well defined. May be part of a larger feature extending to the west.
The cropmark is about 112 metres long, as seen on aerial photographs. It appears to have a terminal at the eastern end, but the western end is less well defined. The narrower ditch to the south, which runs parallel to and appears to be associated with this one, is approximately 8 metres away. Both may be part of a larger feature extending to the west.
The features were digitally recorded from aerial photographs <2> during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. They are considered likely to be part of a large enclosure or field, possibly contemporary with the features described in MDO37313.
