A gravel pit shown on the first edition Ordnance Survey map. On this map it is described as 'Old Gravel Pit'. A group of small extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, there were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

A gravel pit shown on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (1). On this map it is described as 'Old Gravel Pit'. A group of small extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, there were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP (2). The features have since been levelled and are no longer visible on the latest Google Earthw Imagery.
