Full Description
Plough-levelled round barrow visible as a circular soilmark and and circular annular cropmark with an estimated diameter of 25 metres on aerial photographs dated 2002 and 2005 respectively. The 2002 soilmark suggests that some residual mound material may remain in situ. The monument lies immediately east of two other similarly levelled round barrows, collectively comprising a scheduled monument (DDO17591), and is probably a hitherto unrecognised part of the same group.
The site of the barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch with traces of an internal mound on aerial photographs taken in 1947; they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM <1>.
