Full Description
Contour hugging lynchets on the western end of Hambledon Hill and extending round to the south are visible on early aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (ALK 1924; EA 2018). The features are truncated by two post medieval chalk pits and on the southern slope might include earlier field boundaries. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
