Full Description
<1> Trust for Wessex Archaeology, 1986, Dorset Barrow Survey (Index). SDO134.
Discovered during field-work. Lies approx 50 paces NE of Combe Ditch, seen from the footpath that runs parallel with this linear earthwork. 10.0m in diameter and 0.2m high. No visible ditch. A faint swelling in a field in established grass grazed by cattle when visited. The field appeared to be rarely ploughed and the mound lay just N of a group of trees which grew at the S edge of the field. The mound may have been ploughed down int he past.
