Smiths Bridge is an ashlar faced structure of two spans over the River Yeo, with cut-waters to the middle pier. The arches are four-centred and chamfered. The Bridge is mentioned by Leland (1535-43), but the existing structure probably dates from later in the 16th century. In 1972 the whole of the south west parapet was demolished by an accident and was rebuilt with the original stones. Scheduled. (2-4)

Smith's Bridge on Bradford Abbas to Yetminster Road, Grade II. Ashlar built with two four-centred arches. Cutwaters to central pier. Late 15th century. (5)

'BRIDGE (Plate 37) over the river Yeo, 350 yards S.E. of the church, is an ashlar-faced structure of two spans with cut-waters to the middle pier. The arches are four-centred and chamfered. The bridge is mentioned by Leland, but the existing structure dates probably from later in the 16th century.'
