Full Description
A bowl barrow, hollow in the centre. <2>
This barrow has a gravel pit cutting into it on the west and a drain on the east. Spoil from the gravel pit has been heaped on top of the barrow. It is not possible to give an accurate diameter but an approximate one is 10.0 metres and the height below the gravel spoil is 1.1 metres. There is no trace of a ditch. The southern part is fern covered. There were no surface finds. Description of Bowl Barrow accepted from Authority 2. <3>
No trace of this tumulus could be found; destroyed by gravel workings. Enquiries of gravel working personnel revealed no knowledge of finds. <4>
