Full Description
Two round barrows on the summit of North Hill 'A' - SY 62959001. Bowl barrow, 66ft diameter and 5ft high. <2-3>
A: SY 62949000. Bowl barrow, diameter 18.0m., height 1.8m. No visible ditch. Both barrows are in arable but unploughed. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. It is part of a group of barrows located on the summit of North Hill. <6>

Situated in a field in apparently established grass although was arable in 1980 (OS). The barrow was unploughed and in good condition apart from an area on its W edge which appears to have been spread by ploughing. 1/2/B
