Monument record MDO3365 - Bowl Barrow, one of Black Down Group, Winterbourne Steepleton

A bowl barrow situated on the western part of Black Down. It forms part of a wider cemetery. The barrow has a mound composed of pebble-flint and earth, with maximum dimensions of 12 metres in diameter and about 0.75 metres in height. Surrounding the mound is a quarry ditch which has become infilled and survives as a buried feature 1.5 metres wide.
